Andrew Lonnie Sikes, Inc, a regional surveying and engineering company recently conducted a 100 mile survey of the Brazos River through Fort Bend County. The project was completed for the Federal Emergency Management Administration and Fort Bend County to support new flood plain mapping of the county. During this project, Mr. Sikes utilized hydrographic surveying techniques he learned in U.S. Department of Commerce, National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) where he was an officer in the Commissioned Corps achieving the rank of Lieutenant (03).
